NOTES FROM THE PRODUCER INFORMATION UPDATES AS OF 04/23/06!!!

WE ARE ALMOST TO THE POINT OF UNLEASHING OUR NEW WEBSITE ONTO THE WORLD, WHICH WILL BE THE TRADITIONAL TYPE OF WEBSITE MOST OF YOU ARE USED TO. ONCE IT IS COMPLETED I WILL SEND THE LINK OUT TO ALL CAST AND CREW SO WE CAN START GENERATING PUBLICITY FOR THIS FILM WE HAVE PUT SO MUCH TIME AND EFFORT INTO. FYI, I INTEND TO SUBMIT A COPY OF "TMC" TO THE TORONTO FILM FESTIVAL ON MAY 15TH. IF IN FACT WE ARE ACCEPTED, IT WILL BE AN UNBELIEVABLE ACCOMPLISHMENT FOR THE FILM AND WILL MEAN WE HAVE A SHOT AT SOME REAL DISTRIBUTION. IF IT ISN'T ACCEPTED THEN WE WILL SIMPLY HAVE TO WORK HARD AT WORKING OUR WAY THROUGH THE FESTIVAL CIRCUIT AND STILL AIM FOR A REAL DISTRIBUTION DEAL. ALSO, SOONER-OR-LATER WE WILL HAVE A CAST/CREW SCREENING FOR ALL OF YOU, I HOPE TO HAVE IT AT A THEATER EITHER IN SALEM OR PORTLAND, BUT WE HAVE TO FINISH SOUND EDITING FIRST. I ANTICIPATE THIS WILL HAPPEN IN EARLY JUNE, BUT NO PROMISES!!!

This site contains information about Long Strange Trip (LST) Productions, including it's current and future productions. Long Strange Trip Productions, LLC. is a group of dedicated individuals based in Salem, Oregon with a common goal of making truly entertaining films! Our current feature, THE MEMORIAL COUNSELOR, started production on June 26th, 2005 after five months in pre-production. The film is from an award winning script written by Portland, Oregon writer Dave Jenkins. Produced and directed by a crew who has worked on short films such as "Double or Nothing" and "Self Improvement", as well as the popular monthly Salem television show "Oregon Jam Presents," and annual live Salem television program "Capital Crypt." The production is registered as a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Limited Exhibition Agreement release that we intend to start entering into the film festival circuit in early 2006. Please browse through the site for information on the film such as locations, characters, and a synopsis. Also be sure to check out the pictures section where we hope to constantly add pictures from the production as it progresses.

The production is now listed on the Internet Movie Database (IMDB.com), I just sent in the actor information last week, but they are always swamped and have a pretty lengthy verification process, so it may take some time before the actors names are on there, plus I am sending in that information at different times (main/actors were in the first batch, the next batch will include speaking roles and smaller roles, and then the rest). "The Memorial Counselor" - An unemployed man, desperate for work, finds humor and life lessons while working at a cemetery (Feature-length, written by Dave Jenkins).

"Songwriters in the Round" - A fun filled night of music filmed at Sig Paulson's house featuring amazing musical artists from California, Oregon, and Washington in a backyard, tiki torch, setting.
